Taking inspiration from Italian photographer Lino Russo’s incredible series Skymetric, we put together a collection of photos that juxtapose glimpses of blue sky and geometric, man-made shapes.

These minimalist, clean photos explore the relationship between design and nature, and the bright pop of blue sky is the other constant. Check out these 11 geometric sky photos for color palette and composition inspiration.
